How can I participate financially in the needs of the Church?
Why give?
Part of the normal life of a disciple of Jesus Christ is to share his possessions. As a disciple of the King, Jesus Christ, every Christian should think about how he can support the work of the Kingdom of God and in particular his local church, giving, both of his time, of his talents and of his his material goods. We see in the Word that Christians were donating money through their local church to support the ministry of pastors-teachers, to express their social solidarity within the church, and to support the outside mission. Our situations are all different and our responsibilities varied, which is why the Bible does not stipulate a specific amount, but it encourages Christians to give happily, generously and wisely.
" May each give what he will have decided in his heart, without regret or constraint, for God loves those who give with joy. It also has the power to fill you with all kinds of benefits: so you will have, at all times and in all things, everything you need, and you will still have some superfluous left over for all kinds of good works ”2 Corinthians 9,7-8 "
